"Lamplighters" by China ´Mystofeles´ Singer

So. Much. Color.
Burns my vampire retinas.

Used an old brush I made for the strascape and for the building texture. Photo of the Minneapolis skyline used as just a reference before being messed around with (drawing it to look more odd and whatnot). So much lighting. I think I learned about 5 new things from doing this pic. lol. I haven't had a fav pic of mine to top 'Balance' yet, but this one has hit the mark for me.

Anyhow, these avian creatures fly around the city and light the lamps. Crazy lots of lamps, thus why there's more in the bkgr. I still have no idea what they are though, I just needed to give them a purpose.  Only actual characters from my story are Polly (red firebird) and Corbin (raven-imp). Was originally just going to be a pic of Polly as she has been in my sketchbook forever. I have no idea how long I spent on this, but I love a good challenge. lol!
