Lan-Ki, (or simply Lanki most of the time) the mountain unicorn. Prodegy of the mountain unicorns, heir to the herd leader, guardian of the Frost fairy, and the only tool needed for her to plot attack on the rest of Alkorniea, he was given a heavy burden the day he was born. Mountain unicorns have strong family and herd ties, but seeing the plot of the Frost Fairy, he saw that in order to save them, he must flee the Mai-Lan-Ki mountains, away from the Fairy. Considered dead and a wonderfull hero legend by most of Alkorniea now, he in fact is still alive, and is the foundation of the Reign plot. Forced to grow up past his years, he is an enigma, pretty unexplainable. serious, mostly humerless beacuse of his brooding tendecies, he is Feircefully protective of Raven and Motikie and those they will hold dear. He can be frightfully nurotic and superstitious at times, and is very hard on himself about happanings connected to him.
