I like your art ) You draw cute characters =) I'm no professional artist, but I think I can give you three tips
1)Spend a bunch of sketchbook pages just drawing hands. That way you'll get good enough at them that you don't have to hide them behind backs all the time ;o) You limit yourself by only allowing your characters' arms to be in one position....or you can just do like I do, and draw the hands anyway even though I suck at them ;o)
2)Practice with color..marker, colored pencil, paint, whatever. My advice would be to draw a picture, scan it so you have an original copy, and THEN color it...that way at least you still have the original picture if you screw it up in the coloring process )
3)At some point you'll probably get a rude commentor, just because nearly everyone does P If you do...you can just pride yourself that at least you're more mature than they are ;o)
