*pokes around, looking for Quinn* *looks up from his spot under the tree, sitting relaxed and comfortably, though he wasn't there a minute ago* Eh? Oh. 'Lo, Princess.

Hi, Ray. Thought I'd stop in and say that, and see how you were doing. *smiles* Are you having a good holiday? I hope so. You'll have to excuse me if I sound rather mundane and boring today, it's just that I'm tired. So, I shall go ramble to the cat and perhaps go to bed. Happy Holidays and shtuff.

:-) Ray Arquette replies: "My holiday hasn't been bad, so far... I can understand being tired. Holidays are stressful."

[Barquael - 6'2", black, multi-plaited and ponytailed long-hair, air of a Renaissance gentleman - strides in, smiles and sets down a dish of cake and a lump of coal with a flourishing bow. is carrying spirits, which he offers before heading off for the next residence]

:-) Ray Arquette replies: "It's good luck to have a dark haired gentleman, yes? Not a tradition I am familiar with... Alright to thank for the kind wishes?"

Yar, I finally have your link up again. And Fearchar! Oh, I should link to Quinn, too. *purrs and snuggles up to Quinn*

:-) Ray Arquette replies: "*lifts an arm to accomodate, looking a little surprised* 'Lo, Princess... "

Hey, congrats on the Elfie and give my love to Fearchar-he's still the cutest dragon I know! I've got a few more things up on my shelf, including the beginning of a semi-humorous tale I call "Terani and Vral."

:-) Ray Arquette replies: "I'll try and drop by! *sighs* I've not been doing much around the 'woods lately, real life getting in the way and all that, but I'll try and be by soon."

Fearchar has won the title/award of 'most non-lethal pet' in the Elfwood Awards... this is good, no?

Woot.

:-) Ray Arquette replies: "I know, I know! But... *looks around and lowers voice* Just tell him he won an award, alright? A non-lethal dragon is one with very wounded pride..."

Hey, Ray, how's it? Things as hectic as before? Just thought I'd come and check in with ya... *smiles*

:-) Ray Arquette replies: "Sorry, sorry, so long getting back! I moved, and then we didn't have internet for almost two months... But I have both furniture and internet now!"

After reading your Fearcher stuff, why not simplify it and make it into a picture book series for children?

The stories about Fearcher are really cute, you do a very good job of putting words into the dragon’s mouth and describing things from his point of view. I do that for our cat all the time. She just looks so smug and superior all the time, I imagine she thinks she is some kind of princess. She always acts royally ticked whenever I put her outside after dinner.

[a great black stallion with coal hung about his neck wades through the plant life and sets down a bundle of cake and spirits before stepping high and galloping off, wild as the wind]

Hey! A girl with my name!

I read one of your Fearchar stories - the one where he flies into your dorm. You have a nice style.
Ah well this comment is pretty pointless I guess since you haven’t logged on in years...
