Richard Booty

Richard is a student at his second year of college studying Advanced IT and Film Studies. He hates writing these things.

 

 

Hey, i'm Richard Booty. I'm 18 and live in the south east of the UK and take inspiration from film and primarily music such as Opeth, Demons & Wizards, Limbonic Art, Emperor, In Flames and System of A Down. I have a on/off attitude to writing, sometimes I can be bothered, sometimes I can't. Right now, I can be bothered. So expect to see some new stuff here soon, including my historical/fantastical story 'A Sun That Never Sets' based around a young magi's journey into the depths of conspiracy and murder within the cival war that is threatning tearing China apart.

Here is a brief explanation of my stories;

Dragon This is a story I have been writing on and off for over a year. I'm not sure what it's about and I wrote it without a clear idea of characters or storyline. Mental note: Never, ever, do this again. While I do think the project was getting somewhere, it has now ended due to a computer malfunction which erased the file that contained what is shown here and almost DOUBLE that. Annoyed, I was.

Fire Again, Fire as a story I began on a whim. I tried to give it an ironic feel, and will maybe oneday finish it.

The Mirror The Mirror is the only complete story I have at Elfwood at present. It tells the tale of a man, his family and a dopelganger threatning to take his life away. This I wrote for a GCSE retake project at the begining of 2001, it's in no way a representation of my work now. Something I hope to rectify in the future.
