Ace Stryker, bounty hunter for hire, the most feared bounty hunter in the known galaxy, or so he thinks, his anthromorphic dog Bowser (which unbeknowest to him can change to a humanoid creature at will) is the reason he's feared. Bowser 's real name is prince Gandius , last of his kind, his mission is simple , track down the killers of his world and keep Ace clueless about  his true self.

The Lords of Chaos are also in search of Prince Ganduis, he holds the lost chaos key, to open the shadow dimension and they will obtain it at any cost! They have obtained the services of a alternate universe version of Ace, a cyborg named Ace Spayder to track down and find the chaos key for them.

And alas Ace is a s clueless as ever!
