SciFi and Fantasy Art Ines by Benjamin James Redant

Ines is a rather interesting character, in that she is a cleric of Mishakal, goddess of healing and mercy and compassion, though she herself is rather spunky and energetic. It's not quite what most would expect in a cleric of Mishakal, but that's what makes a character interesting. Ines is described as 'bosomy' (which is always fun, because hey, lets face it, I'm just like the next guy) as well as being red-headed and freckled. Wheee! Lots of fun to draw. And there's even a background here, which is something I don't often do. Anyway, have a gander, and comments are always welcome!

15 Feb 2004	Mike K. Anderson	Loading... Personally, I think her head is fine. The breasts, on the other hand, are gi-normous! I'm not saying such a thing isn't possible, but they really seem to be at least twice normal size. Also, they're twice as bright as pretty much everything else in the scene. It kind of distracts from the great details on the face and background. Otherwise, it's a photo-perfect drawing.

Here's a realistic, naturally pretty-looking young woman; sure, her bosom is ample, but you've also fleshed the rest of her out so it's balanced. There are plenty of girls in the world with large breasts, but most of them have broad hips and are very soft and pillowy, even plump, and you reflect that reality nicely. The freckles, the expression, the stance - she's gorgeous, and refreshingly believable. Your shading is simply exquisite, and one can definitely see your improvement over time as they go through your gallery. Brilliant work!
