I've come to realize something from my other pictures. I hate feet. I don't really know why, but I always somehow manage to find a way out of drawing them, and what better way to avoid feet than to draw something without feet. A MERMAID! Now, this isn't my usual style, her body's noticeably out of proportion with her jumblies, and her torso is a little long, but damn it, its fantasy, and who says mermaids are built like normal people anyway. Graphite on computer paper. Oh, and so you know (any who are curious) This is REALLY OLD computer paper, as in, it had perfs on the sides. And I have a huge box of it from when I still had my antiquated dot matrix (about a year ago). And that's what I use. ***NOTE*** Another update has been done on this picture. The main reason for this is twofold. 1) To downsize her breasts, just a little. And 2) To fix her mouth which wasn't oriented quite right.

Only a word:
Beautiful

Very beautiful! Especially how you merged the body to the tail. Almost wouldn't mind seeing it in color, but then again, I'm not a big fan of ruining black and white pictures with color either.

I also hate feet.

She's beautiful! I love her breasts!

Her right arm looks funny, it almost bend backward... or perhaps is it her right breast's shadow?

Hi Benjamin, I really like your style and ability, you have a lot of talent that I can learn and draw from! As far as feet go, I also used to hate drawing feet until a famous Artist (Steve Rude) and other artist's who worked at Joe Kubet's art school told me to "practice, practice, practice and don't leave 'em out, you'll learn!" We'll the advice worked as I've honed in on "them" and continue to strive to do so. Check out my homepage and you'll see there's hope, in fact I get more compliments about my "feet drawing" ability than I do about anything else! Keep up the good work!

This is very impressive, but why are her breasts like basketballs??
