| 7 Jul 2005 | Noelle Cristen | cute gallery! Some of your art reminds me of the style that Pratchet uses on the covers of his books- I have a Pratchett obsessed friend who insisted I would like him and forced me to read her whole library, and she was right- I've turned into a pratchett lover...don't feel bad about LOTR- I was forced to read the hobbit for mythology class ( wouldn't have done it otherwise), and only got though half of "The Fellowship" on my own...lol...oh and I loooove Monty Python too! | |
| 11 Jul 2005 | Shelby Blair | You have a great gallery! You should upload some more stuff (unless of course, it's in the queue.... 8[ ) Yes, those shameless plugs work! *chuckles to oneself* now lets see if mine worked!! Heh heh heh... But anyway, I don't know any of Pratchett's work, but judging on your stuff, it looks veeerrryy interesting! | |
| 12 Jul 2005 | Cheryl L Berube | wow! I followed your link from the shameless plug, and I'm so glad I ended up here! this is an awesome gallery, and I look forward to seeing more of it in the future! Rebecca Vita replies: "Thankyou! I'm starting to realize I should have put that plug in earlier. I'm glad you like my art!" | |
| 27 Jul 2005 | Link(im a girl, just my nickname) | this is gonna sound wierd....i thought you were a boy.(blush)then i just relized your name is REBECCA.....i am so stupid...i hate the web.anywhoooo yah i think you should keep the drawings you are unhappy with. i kept all mine even though they were complete and utter junk, but then you can go back and work on your old ideas to improve them.i think it comes in handy. cause the you can truly work on putting on paper what you envisioned in your head.and as your vision changes, its easier to look on your old ideas to make the change or if you had forgotten an idea you rediscover it and can continue it.wheras if you had thrown it away....by the way, i'm 14.i was afraid i might be sounding older or something.probably not,i'm incredible IMATURE! goodbye p.s.-do i sound like a snob/jerk??? | |
| 30 Sep 2005 | Oliver Jöhnk | These are very good pictures. I like your style and especially your 'Pratchett's 'Grim Squeaker''. I always liked the idea and your version of him is just great. Rebecca Vita replies: "Thanks! I'm glad you like them." | |
| 22 Oct 2005 | Anonymous | Erm... shouldn't this be in FanQuarter? Only original art is allowed in SF&F or the copyright owner (Terry Pratchett) can sue you... Rebecca Vita replies: "Terry Pratchet's allowed. I'm doing art from a book, not from a flim. Check the rules." | |
| 14 Dec 2005 | DEATH | "WHO KNOWS WHAT EVIL LURKS IN THE HEARTS OF MAN?" "SQUAEK?" "WELL OBVIOUSLY ME BUT I WONDERED IF THERE WAS ANYBODY ELSE..."
Great pis | |
| 9 Jan 2006 | Emma Pihl | I like your discworld art very much. there isn't enough discworld fan art in this world. The only thing that's missing in your gallery is a pictre of Susan sto helit. | |
| 29 Oct 2006 | S. D. Kallio | I like your work. It's very entertaining. The manga you're working on seems interesting, you mentioned that there was more of it on your own website. If it's not too much trouble could you post the link? I would love to see more of the manga. It's really too bad that you don't keep your older work. I save far too much of mine. | |
| 14 Dec 2006 | Lorraine-Danielle 'Erynn' Donovan | You're good. Very good. | |
