SciFi and Fantasy Art Underneath the Moonlight by Natalie Adams

Under the moonlight she waits, for the Moon to rise and the night to wake. For Vlad's children to rise, and the spirits to walk again. Under the moon she waits, for All Hallow's Eve.

Just something i did for the Halloween contest, your basic witch. Albeit a darn-cool witch. - i tried out a new, more graphic style on this one - basic cell colouring, with a bit of shading. I made the castle myself (and am absurdly proud of it) and th etree and owl/bats are custom-shapes. She is meant to have a slight aura about her, but it is hard to see here. :(

But I do think that this witch is much more suited for the contest theme. I think you did an awesome job on her pose and the way her hat is hiding her face is absolutely fantastic. 16 Jun 2010	Brendon thu Magpie McGahee	Loading... I like-um the spiders!!!!! I like the hoot owl as well!!! This is very cool!! What did you use for the mist? Certainly has that whole ’Alice in Wonderland’ feel to it!!! I would like to see maybe a female vampire done in this same style!!! Bet that would turn out really nice!!!! Natalie Adams replies: "oooh that is a really good idea! thank you, that’ll be my next project. the mist was done with just a semi-transparent brush, then majorly squiggled with the smudge tool! (note the use of very technical wording there ) this is still one of my faves."
