It seems the majority of galleries in Elfwood contain pictures of faeries, so I thought I'd get in on the action. I was all set to hit yet another in a long line of sixes when this faery got in the way. Splat! Luckily the umpire called a no ball.

I didn't know their blood was silver.

Background done with Ulead Photo Express. The photo of the bat was taken by a friend and I have permission to use it. The faery was provided by extremely talented Elfwood artist Natalie Adams and is used with her permission. Be sure to check out her gallery.

Lol, great idea. It doesn’t always have to be the birds that get hit in this kind of games. 10 You did a pretty good job blending all the pictures together and making the photos fit in with Natalie’s drawing. 2

hahaha ur so cruel! I have been reading your comments and i don’t think remorse is on your schedule here. It’s you and your trigger-happy clumsy batting, not her streaking, that caused her tragic fate! I’ll stand up for the Faery Nation - 14

:-) MT Starkey replies: "You’re right. I don’t do remorse very well. And who says my batting’s clumsy? It’s certainly better than my bowling, though I do get a pretty good turn when I spin bowl.

that is undeserving of a come-back.....i am very glad i am not anywhere near you when you DO bowl then - i once got knocked out by a Rounders ball (very like a cricket ball) when the girl bowling hit me in the temple, right after the teacher said ’Aim for the bat, Claire, the BAT’...i still got a rounder, but with much ’no, natalie, THIS way....follow my voice!’.
*sigh* good times.

Yes, a cricket ball can be quite painful when it hits you in the wrong place. I’m not the best batsman, and many a sensitive area has been struck. Nowhere too sensitive, though..."
