Back from the crash with 75% more slackitude!

Oh dear. I have more text boxes to fill with my words! Ehehehehe. You should all worry about this.

Hi. I'm Ree, as advertised. My writing tends to manifest in free-form roleplaying boards, but I do manage to spit out a story or sonnet from time to time. These tend to be either a) loathesome angst, or 2) gross cheeriness. (Did you miss the bad joke? Nevermind.)

According to the notice below the box into which I am typing, I'm supposed to tell of my inspiration, goals, and such. To this, I blink. I don't know! From time to time a peach of an idea lands in my brain and I write. It just tumbles out. I'm sure there are people who write neat lists into these boxes: 'I draw inspiration from Tchaikovsky, Neil Gaiman, and God.' I think these people are pulling my chain; if not, they befuddle me. I once got a story idea from a kitchen appliance commerical, now that I think on it. 'Twas an odd one, but I know an idea when it lands in my brain with a reassuring splat!

As I write this (April 2004), I am very, very new here. But I already know a few people and have poked around their shelves and galleries:

My roleplaying cronies:
• Erin Kerr, my niece and self-proclaimed 'Artist Twit', whom I figure I should list first or risk a whomping.
• Toni Kaukinen, probably the original source of my Nightwish addiction. Plus he can draw and I can't. Oh well.
• Ilona Lamminen, whose extraordinary grasp of the English language occasionally makes me feel very small. Luckily, her stories are wonderful enough to cheer me up again in the same reading.
• Evangeline Cheng, creatrix of the idea that became our darling little roleplay group.

I'm told the name is actually Fresian, for whatever that's worth."
