| 21 Jan 2003 | Sandra Leigh Wagner | Loading...: lapping self on head:: Must remember not to allow rugrat to interupt train of thought. Forget what I said about the neck, I realized its a mastiff. The thumbnail reference looked a little weasel-like. The curled paw still seemed just this side of not-right, though. Love everything else. Regan M. Johnson replies: "Thanks, it will someday get painted and I'll rework the paw. I am probably the only person left not to have red the Redwall series, but I agree if it's a badger and it's in clothes, someone'll think of Redwall, and that's fine. I'll have a fanart site up sometime soon for other art, but since I haven't read the series, I hesitate to call myself a fan... yet! " | |
| 21 Jan 2003 | Sandra Leigh Wagner | Loading...I, too, am a great fan of Brian Jacques, though none of the creatures within the books ride other animals, so I don't think you are treading on anyone's toes! Even I was inspired by the badgers to create my own were badger lady(she's on my fantasy site). But I love this one very much. THe night is very well done but there is something about the neck and the front paws of the 'steed' that bothers me a bit, it looks... a bit weird. Delightfully whimsical though! | |
| 21 Jan 2003 | Byrne | Loading...YES!! Reminds me very much of Brian Jacques Redwall. A book btw. NOT accusing you of stealing. Anyways, love it. Yes, excellent shading!!! | |

| 28 Jul 2008 | Sarah Charles | Loading...Makes me think of Brain Jaqcues’ "Redwall", though I doubt the Badger Lords of Salamandastron would often be seen riding on the backs of Saint Bernards. Absolutely delightful! | |
