Tag As FavoriteComment		This was a piece for Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine. The story was by George RR Martin. I was fortunate enought to met Mr. Martin a few years later and was able to get him to sign the mat. I was also priviliged enough to do the illustration for the second installment titled Path of the Dragon. I may post that one at a later date. It is very similar in composition to this one.

This is a great picture. I am just reading A Clash Of Kings by George RR Martin and this pic reminded me of the scene where Daenaerys' dragons hatch from the funeral pyre of her husband. I don't know whether that was the scene you had in mind but she certainly is Blood of the Dragon. Well done on a stunning pic which captures the atmosphere of that scene perfectly.
