SciFi and Fantasy Art The Green Foar by Heather R. Schumacher; ´LadyHawk/Nova´

This was an illustration to a story my boyfriend wrote. The Foar are a creature similar to swans, but change into beautiful women when they touch the earth. There were 6 of them, but this is the green one...having touched down in a world of black and white, everything in her wake taking on the brilliance of her color. Personally, I find quiet pictures like this one lovely, and subtle, and more worthy of contemplation than many of the more "dramatic" pieces you see thrown about the woods like fall leaves. This is just beautiful. You have a read talent for drawing realistic feathers. I envy that.
6 Feb 2005	Noa Eren	Loading... I find this beautiful, and not only because green is my favourite color But I think it looks more like a white swan lit by a green light, than an actually green swan. It might be the white highlights. Still, it's very beautiful, realistic and serene.
