SciFi and Fantasy Art Cautious curiosity by Gabriele U. Reinecke

This picture is influenced by two recently read SF shortstories, the little shop of horrors and an old sketch I did nearly 20 years before. The little guy has his roots in the stories 'In the manner of trees' by Stephen Baxter and 'Paramathea' by Eric Brown. The flower is a mixture of Audrey II ( 'Feed me';-) )and this early sketch I mentioned. - So it´s not ment to be a faery, but afterwards - it looks like one ;-)
