"These feathers that guide me" by Gabriele U. Reinecke

This is Amalaya (she introduced herself to me right in this special moment, when I just wanted to write: This is a unknown princess of an unknown tribe, living in an unknown jungle on an unknown planet at an unknown time). She told me,  that she´s on the way into undisturbed isolation to find her totem. She feels, that it might could be the jaguar (someone once told her, she´d was as supple as the beast, someone told her, she´d got the same eyes as the beast). Now she´s eager to find out the truth. The feathers she´s wearing, are small daggers, coated with pure gold. So they not only reflect the last rays of sunset, they are also needful if it comes to a fight.
