Back to stitches and scars, this is a representation of Boris Karloff's creature for the 1933 movie 'Bride of Frankenstein' one of my favorite of the old horror movie genre.

No comments yet?! I'll put a stop to that! This is great, simply fantastic, a terrific likeness of karloff's tortured, misunderstood monster. My only question is, however, why on earth is his right electrode glowing like that...?

:-) KELL 'Aerandir' Pestana replies: "At last I am responding, ok first let me say thanks, Frankenstein is my favorite literary work. And Karloff represented him quite well despite Hollywoods' mutilation of the story. As far as his electrode it is supposed to be a reflection I guess, it is a lens flare and they are taking over, I know, I use them too much."

I can't see any actual error, good job

:-) KELL 'Aerandir' Pestana replies: "Thanks a lot, wish you had left your name, drop by again, I have some new stuff going in!"

Whoa! That is a VERY good picture of Frankestien! Kinda reminds me of the time when his 'bride' rejects him. "She hates me." Keep it up!!!

:-) KELL 'Aerandir' Pestana replies: "Very astute this is from the second movie Karloff made as the Monster...thanks for commenting!!!"

Is it just my imagination or is someone a fan of Frankie? hehehe.

:-) KELL 'Aerandir' Pestana replies: "Aha Mistress Kayla, Indeed I confess to being guilty as charged, Frankenstein's creation to me is one of the most intricately developed characters in literature."

okay, first off you've drawn a VERY nice picture with LOADS of emotion! Thumbs up! Second off, have you seen that new commercial, with frankenstein complaining about achy joints, then plugging some kind of asprin? thats what this reminded me of 2

:-) KELL 'Aerandir' Pestana replies: "Hehehehe yes I have seen that commercial. I wonder what Mary Shelley would think to see her creation still struttin' his stuff after all these years. Thanks for the visit."

This one is very good! Great detail, and looks exactly like Boris Karloff 2

:-) KELL 'Aerandir' Pestana replies: "Thanks my friend"

Oops, sorry--I just saw the book-based one, and it beats mine to death.

1 KELL 'Aerandir' Pestana replies: "  no problem, I'm just happy you came back, it's been a while....thanks for all the comments, it means a lot to find another monster fan!!"

Wow, I love your Frankenstein art! Did you ever consider drawing him as described in the book? I think you'd do an awesome job of it. I have a foam latex mask of it in my Zone gallery, if you are interested.

1 KELL 'Aerandir' Pestana replies: "  Wow, hehehehee...indeed."
