I know; I did this backwards...I drew this Lara first with no background...decided to try a color version... so I scanned her off, printed it, and drew a background around her...and colored it. But I thought maybe I should have a black and white version too...ooops. so I had to draw the background again. these are not two versions of one drawing..they are one version of two drawings ..??or two drawings of one version.??? or two drawings..I don't know!!!

Criticism isn't criticism without honesty. Otherwise it's either an insult or flattery. No one, except evil annoying people (didn't want to put what I call them ^_^), will insult a picture, but will give honest criticism. Passage did make a really bad mistake about her breasts though... But I won't get into that. In my opinion, the face isn't all that great. Doesn't look too much like Jolie or Lara, to me anyway. But other than that it's great.

:-) KELL 'Aerandir' Pestana replies: "Hi Chris, yea I had some problems with the face partly beacause the reference pic was very small, and partly because the pic itself isn't very big either...81/2" X 11" about. And the details were hard to see, and correct. Thanks for the honesty I am going to try to get a better pic of her face to refference at some point."

I like how you did her boots and her legs. They look like they are truely in motion. Did you smooth it with a kleenex? That usually works for the smoothness. I guess, but that's what I see. mOtIoN...whoooo!!! Be afraid.

:-) KELL 'Aerandir' Pestana replies: "  Thanks Emily, yes I did use a kleenex, sometimes if I want a more blended look I will even use a heavy paper towel, they work too."

Elliot( The most rabid of all chipmunks)

:-) KELL 'Aerandir' Pestana replies: "Thank you so much O most rabid of all Chipmunks, please return again, glad you liked it."

How can you freaks INSULT this pic?!!?!?!?!!?!!

Who cares if there are a few TINY flaws that only jackasses who LOOK for them can see?!!?!!!

This pic is AWESOME!
It is the closest anyone can EVER get to drawing Anything related to Lara Croft! ( In other words, it's the next closest thing to her actually swinging on the rope out of my computer!!)

this is GREAT art!
EXTREMELY realistic, with a great sense of motion!
Five stars!

** thumbs up **

If you can make something look THIS realistic, then EMAIL ME ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:-) KELL 'Aerandir' Pestana replies: "Thank you Otaku. . .I appreciate your comments."

I totally and completely agree with Navah Rosenweig. You can actually feel the motion! It's awsome! I hope to be an artist like you someday.

:-) KELL 'Aerandir' Pestana replies: "Thanks so much "Anon" stop by again"

I love the action in this picture and the background is very good. Most of her body is very good as well, the shape of her nose and nipples is not important, but!
Her torso is off to one side of her shoulders and that's what's wrong. If you look at the muscles on her arms and then compare them with her armpits you will see what I mean.

:-) KELL 'Aerandir' Pestana replies: "Thanks Steph, appreciate the comments, but as I said before that is the way it was in the poster...maybe she needs a chiropractor"
12 Jun 200245 Passage
Well...um...I wouldn't exactly call it perfect. For one thing, her nose is much too pointed, and her nipples are much too large. There's something else wrong with her breasts, but I'm not sure what it is. But hey, otherwise, it's great.

:-) KELL 'Aerandir' Pestana replies: "Greetings O nipple obsessed one, incidentally, that is shading not nipples-whatever else is wrong with her breasts you will have to take up with her...because that is how they were in the poster..."

*I* think its really good, considering what many of my pictures look like -- (sorry, you'll probably never see them). I can't find too much beside teeny-tiny things wrong. You have to look for them to see them, but I didn't look because I'm pretty observant. Ok I'll shush now, and stop ranting, because I get boring. I really like the picture, and that's my point! Great job!

:-) KELL 'Aerandir' Pestana replies: "HI again Cara, thanks for your kind words, I know it's not as green as the other version lol, glad you liked it tho."
