This might have been before I learned to use soft pencils, so you're completely right about the contrast! ^_^" | |
| 22 Jun 2002 | Jennifer | Loading...Well I have looked at the opposing pieces of artwork in your collection on this page and I must say that I like them all.. I have always wanted to make sculputers but never really found the proper way to do them. as you said gravity does have rules and my work always ended up in the bottom of the waistbasket.. I'm really surprised to find an artist with such a large ranged imagination. I think it's great.. I applaud you on your artwork.. and yes ALL POKEMON MUST PARISH! thank you for your time~>~>~>Jennifer<~<~<~ Renate Ingebrigtsen replies: "AH! Jennifer! You do a very good first comment if I may say so! I was thrilled to find this in my mailbox this morning! I hope you're not giving up on sculpturing- it only requires some patience you know... and don't use too much water- that makes it sag down to a lump of dirt. I'll consider you a member of Leopold's fanclub! ^_~" | |
| 25 Jun 2002 | S 'faething' VanDenEng | Loading...LOL! The symbolism(?) of having this pic appear on a yearbook is priceless (future husbands, beware!)... was this on purpose? Anyway... I love her clothing and the rock she's sitting on. I really like the irregular dimensions of the rock too. There's a really nice mingling of elements to this whole picture. It definitely looks alluring | |
| 26 Jun 2002 | Andrew david rowling | Loading...Yeah. It's a cool rock. I think I've already spoke about ths one to you in an e-mail, but i think you could patch it up (now that you're more confidant) by adding a bit more shading, because the image itself is VERY good.I love her clothes, and the detail in the trees. It looks leafy without going overboard. Something I can't do... yet. Keep it up. cheese Renate Ingebrigtsen replies: "ok... I rarely do it, but now I actually want to freshen up this drawing! I hope I'll find it! O.O I mostly added it here so you could see my development. ^_^" | |
| 28 Jun 2002 | James R Steelman Jr | Loading...WOW, just noticed the wolf in the grass. I can't quite pick a favorite they are all soooo good. Renate Ingebrigtsen replies: "hehe It's fun to do little details that one can enjoy discovering! ^_^ " | |

| 19 Mar 2003 | Halvor | Loading...Hello I`m Halvor. You`ve got something wrong in your explaining about"Huldra" The right correct version about her is: When you marry a hulder, her tail will fall off as soon you lift her over the doorstep to the church. Afterthe marriage she will tun out to be tha kindest and prittiest girl in the world. She will altso do every thing that pleasures a man, and she will do everything you ask her for.. Hug from me Ps. Nice drawing!Ok.... that would be the guy's version. The women probably thought it more suitable to scare the boys off from running after pretty tempting girls in the forest, and rather have them marry proper girls. While for the men's imagination, a pretty pleasuring girl would surely be more... pleasuring to think of. I'm babbling. I've heard both versions. I chose the other one to make a contrast to the beauty of the hulder. ^_^Thank you nonetheless, Halvor(which is a boy's name)! | |
