I like the fact that this piece has very, very vague anime-ish overtones. Any artist otaku can replicate the style of their favorite manga or show, but in this case it's more or less that you've captured some of the same essence that originally made Anime popular. And I rather like the hair; the absence of shading to indicate depth and shape would be a problem in most pictures, but here it works with the mood of the piece, both in aesthetic terms and by the obvious dint of being underwater, where limited light means dark objects would look flatter than the would in air anyway. All told, quite well done.
