 | | | | | Date | Name | Comment | | | 16 Feb 2003 | Slythie (hehe) | Wow, very nice! I am most proud of you, little brother! Aryeh L. White replies: "Thanks for comenting, Slythie, I am glad you like. " | |
| 17 Feb 2003 | Lisa Ann Eshkenazi | Aryeh (which is a very cool name by the way)--first off, I must thank you for all the comments you've left in my gallery. They all mean a great deal to me. I had no idea you were a writer here or I would have come by long ago to read your work. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to do it right now but I will definitely try to come by tomorrow during my son's nap and take a look to repay your kindness. Again, thanks for taking the time to read my work and comment on it. Aryeh L. White replies: "I thank you very much in advance for your intent to do so. I shall add that I just became a writer. I tried once before, but my email went down when I was supposed to get a responce. Thanks for commenting" | |
| 11 Mar 2003 | LionOfLoyalty | Though I must note, the spelling was impeccable in this particular piece. I was surprised. Might I also ask if Asimov's Foundation series as well as his Robot series was any inspiration? I know you read both, and I noted some simliarities here. Irregardless, you've done an admirable job with this piece. Aryeh L. White replies: "You guessed well. I was much inspired by Asimov in this story. However, Asimov has the Galactic empire falling over thousands of years. Also, people still had hyperspacecraft after the fall of the empire. I was inspired in the background by Asimov, but the story will be different. Also, to all you copywright hounds out there (you know who you are), every modern Sci-Fi author has been inspired by Asimov. He laid the cornerstone of the genra. Lastly, AriN, irregardless is not a word you want to use if you want to sound educated. Go to http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=Irregardless if you don't believe me. " | |
| 11 Mar 2003 | LionOfLoyalty | Once again, Mr. White, you show that a complete lack of the capability to spell does not stop one from becoming a excellent, nay, brilliant writer. Aryeh L. White replies: "The least you could have done is read before commenting. I found myself an industrial streangth spellchecker. " | |
| 24 Mar 2003 | Lisa Eshkenazi | Oh...and I've only read one story by Aasimov and it wasn't science fiction (surprise) but involved a drippy faucet, a missing button and two obsessive old ladies. But irregardless (just kidding, but I had to throw that in there 'cause I'm a brat) I still write SF. Seriously, I read one of your pieces--I hope you have access to Elfwood again so you can see it. I will read the others...slowly but surely. Aryeh L. White replies: "I raise my eyebrow in your general direction. " | |
| 27 Mar 2003 | Lisa Eshkenazi | Should I be afraid? You know...I only recently learned how to raise just one eyebrow--it's taken a long time to develope the right muscles so I can do it.... On a completely unrelated note, I finished what you have posted of Gateways (or without the "s"--I can't remember). It's quite intriguing. I hope that you post more of it soon. Aryeh L. White replies: "I raise my other eyebrow, wrap my right leg around my head thrise, insert it in one ear and pull it thro' to the other. In other words, yes. It is, in the meantime, Gateway (singular because it is being treated as a collective noun.)" | |
| 11 Aug 2003 | Lisa Eshkenazi | Okay...I won't tell you that I deleted all my stories. Um...I might put them back up after I get over this insane bout of paranoia. ~Lisa | |
| 13 Oct 2003 | Frank | Not a bad story (Gateway)...you just need to kinda finish it... but also, the whole history thing at beginning of each chapter is a good idea but it makes the story harder to follow... otherwise, not bad... keeps me fairly interested...good work ari..cya later Aryeh L. White replies: "[blinks] Manithanks!" | |
| 28 Oct 2003 | Catherine M Robinson 'Lorien M Earth' | hey well AIM is really messed up so we got cut off and it wont come back! *curses AOL* anyways ill read ur stuff whenever i get a good break from researching for my science fair project...o cool name BTW Aryeh L. White replies: "Thanks for all. By the way, what is your science fair prodject on?" | |
