SciFi and Fantasy Art Eish Ne´aun, Centaur Cleric by Rhonda Jezek

Just started an online RPG and this is my character. She's supposed to be very dark, but I didn't want to sit there and shade her for forever. The things under her eyes are streaks of blue wax representing the tears of her goddess. It's the first time I've ever drawn a centaur, and with that consideration, I don't think it's too bad. The bow I stuck in there as an afterthought when I realized her hand was probably wanting to hold something. I didn't have a picture reference, unfortunately, so it's not so great. But it's a doodle. Oh, well. I just stuck it up because I haven't posted here in years and years.

22 May 2006	Yaza le Strange	Loading... Ok--you used no picture reference right? then when i shout don't be alarmed.. OH MY BLUE BLOOD DEVILS! ARE YOU INSANE? horses are famously hard to draw (bloody hard muscles they got and in weird places too) and this one actually looks pretty close to what it should. FABULOUS! She's wonderful, her hair especially--and i like how her torso is considerably shortened (whether by design or accident). It makes her look less... well... gawky is the best way to put it. More natural that she should be merged with horse. Most centaurs are too long in body and they'd flap around onto of their horse bodies like rag dolls. This is really, really good.
