A freehand brush and Indian ink compilation of some of my earliest characters. I enjoyed the freedom and fluidity of being able to draw with the brush, but it took ages!

The correct term is - 'Native American Ink'!Rich's reply: Well, 'Sadly Offended', perhaps you should be 'Sadly Mistaken'. The correct term is actually 'Indian Ink' as taken from the Oxford English Dictionary... the last line in all things of the English language. I believe that the ink is so known as it was used in conjuction with India paper - a thin but sturdy opaque paper used in early printing methods... India - Asia, not Native Americans. So there you go.

Actually, it's India Ink, previous pinheaded poster. I like working with a brush as well, but I am way out of practice. Great lines, tones and expressions!

i looooveee the cow ^_^ (bull?) hahaha, actually they're all fantastic.. both in sense of 'good job in creating this characters' and 'great work drawing em in') never worked with brush meself, preferring felt-tip pen but i guess i still prefer computer to all of those ^_^ at least for now still... if someone could do this with brush without making a single mistake... hmmm... *runnin to artstore to buy some*

It's hard to get faces to look good at different angles. This is great.

The face of the guy in the down right corner looks like that of Jafar in Aladdin... I love Aladdin xD
