SciFi and Fantasy Art Archangel Gabriel: Rest between the Announcement VII by Richard Thomas Lankes aka ´Dirty da Vinci´

The step in which I begin the creation of the Trumpet (or Horn), that will announce the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. The horn evolved after several attempts, and I decided on making a horn made of intertwining metal tubes, like a 'pan flute', just coiled upon itself. I shall add on the metal sheen next after getting the dimensions and angles down on the horn. Boxed area 1 is the area where the horn is placed, and boxed area 2 shows the main outlay of the horn. As I said, it still requieres elements like the metal sheen and the shadows cast by bent metal...

I don't want to get too much into suggestions/criticisms before you're finished, so I don't say something you were going to do anyway, but you might want to soften that jawline just a little. Apart from that...I know one isn't supposed to say it, but I'm going to anyway...wow. (Yeah, you heard me--I SAID--WOW!) What a beautiful face.... This is what I get for looking at the final piece before looking at all the steps that go into it, lol, a mistake I sometimes make in other areas of life too, hehehe. Now I know and "knoing is half the battle, G.I.JOE!" Off to the yellow brick road to see the other steps now! ;-) (Laughing hard)

Likekim, i saw the final piece before going through the 'making'. anyways, i now know it's supposed to be a horn...i thought it was some sort of instrument. u won't beieve what i first thought! that it was sugar came & rope woven together...yikes!Sugar cane and rope...hmmmm....you know, I might be able to do something with that (big smile)...
