| 21 Feb 2001 | Sgod | Loading...I adore this one! Superb! I never saw an abulm cover like that--perhaps because classical music only has renaissance paintings or old people on the front. ;] You and I seem to share that blending tecnique with pencil. You have never seen this album cover? Well, it isn't classic music. It is Milla Jojovich (drooling), and it is a folklorick-alternative blend. I know it sounds strange, but when you give it a listen, it is pretty good! By the way, you're much better at shading than I am... | |
| 24 Mar 2001 | Anneke Hut | Loading...I don’t know the cover either. You know Richard, every time I come here, I sit down and fancy I am in the Sistine Chapel, in the Palace of the Vatican. This composition reminds me very much of the ‘Creation of Adam’ of Michelangelo. The figure is different ofcourse (LOL), but the posture and the atmosphere look the same. The woman demonstrates your masterly understanding of human anatomy and movement. Did you know, she is a brunette? That is, in MY files (LOL).(Blushing) Thank you, Anneke. But I'm blonde *LOL* Just joking... | |

In fact, you might want to consider coloring the entire picture...the contrast of the soft/hard outlines is very Dali-esque...and Dali, as I recall, did do illustrations for the Divine Comedy as well.Well, for coloring I would need to get someone who is capable to do so for me. I'm too incompetent to color anything, unfortunately. Dali did images for the Divine Comedy? I did not know that. Thank you for the beautiful comment and the extra knowledge, Nancy! | |
| 30 May 2001 | Andréas Oh | Loading...Not as poor ol Dante experienced it I guess You think he would have prefered this? *LOL* The light tones is soo neat! Did you say it was from a CD cover by the 5th Ellemnt gall? ..is it any good? ^^~ It is from the cover of the album "The Divine Comedy" by Milla Jojovich, put out on sale in 1994, I think. If you like soft alternative or folklore-ish music, than you will enjoy this. It has a subtle infusing of pop rock, as well. I enjoy it alot. She made a video from this album, "Gentleman Who Fell". Good song... | |

| 23 Aug 2001 | Anneke Hut | Loading...Richard, do you have a hint for me on Ranchero music? I've heard some beautiful Mexican music, but I don't know any musicians. I really love the sunny sound of it! Would love to have a CD of it! I am still searching for CD's of Milla. Here in the music stores, they all have heard of the model and actress, but never of her musical ambitions.(?) I'm very curious about it. I have even been to our big cities (smile) like Amsterdam, Utrecht and Rotterdam, to ask about it in the bigger music stores, but without any result. (sigh) | |
| 19 Dec 2001 | CPU Killer | Loading...If you want Milla Jovovich's CD, I found it @ FYE at the mall, you can probably find it at Sam Goody. I know they sell it at CDNow.com. I am working on a Milla fansite (http://kickme.to/milla), which will have the songs from the CD in MP3 format, so check it in a few days. | |
| 7 Jan 2002 | Anneke Hut | Loading...Hey, I haven't been here for a while. CPU Killer, thank you for the address. The site looks very good!! | |
| 4 Mar 2004 | Aa in kansas | Loading...This image is only too familiar to me, I think I must have been the first person in the US to buy that CD by Milla, I saw a video for it in Paris and had to have it. I waited 3 months to get the CD when I got back! Anyway, I love this image, it is very Michelangesque, and superb in it's finessing of the female body--well done. | |
