What a glorious concept, Richard. She has a classically beautiful face. I like the three-dimensional adornments, and the valuing is perfect. The lips have been much discussed, and I'm not really sure - I know that at that angle, with the lips partially open, there would be a slight view of the inner lip, making it look larger than if it were a front view. If your proportion is off, it's not by much.

wow... i feel that if i just run my fingers over her face she's gently turn her head and look straight at me. Ah! she looks almost alive!

I like how you keep the construction lines at the bottom of the picture. It's like a reminder that the portrait is actually just a drawing that began life in the same way the lines at the bottom did

Wow, you're great, it looks almost real, but gypsies don't really look like this woman, it doesn't remind me of gypsies, anyway, it's very good, I didn't mean it's not awesome.( Sorry for bad English )

It seems a shame that such a great picture looks unfinished. I guess a finished version will never wind up on Elfwood.
