| A character from my comic that I've never used and probably never will use in the actual story. Yes, I made the arch angel Azrael female. If it's birth or if it's death you get a female character. It's mythologically suiting. ;) This was made for a Mucha contest held by Mizzd-stock. I tried to mimic the very smooth (almost flat) colouring Mucha sometimes use, but I don't think I'm very good at it. ;) Also, I probably made my inner lineart too thick if I really were to mimic his style. But I tried. I made the picture from this reference I drew the lineart on top of the original photo, since I've never tried to do that before, and I wanted to get this over with quickly. However, I don't think this was any quicker than my normal eye balled reference pictures. No doubt this is easier if you are a beginner within anatomy, but I changed so much anyway, that it almost were more confusing than helpful. If you put this on top of the original photo, you'll see that the arms, shoulders, sleeves and ankles lines up almost perfectly. I changed pretty much everything else in different ways. ;) This was fun to try, but I don't think I'll be doing it again. It wasn't that helpful for me. :) |
