SciFi and Fantasy Art Pregnant Elf by Rikke Lindskov ´Gwennafran´ Loft


	An elven lady in special circumstances. This was in many ways a colouring practice. The image itself is rather small. Just 10x15 cm (4x6 inches). It does however fits perfectly into a little frame meant for photographs. ;) The image was made using this stock from mizzd-stock.

Rikke Lindskov ´Gwennafran´ Loft replies: "You don't think this picture has details? Anyway, the whole point with this was to experiment with colours. Much of the details are supposed to be in those. Also, it's limited how many details I fell like putting into a 10x15 cm picture... It's really hard to give tiny things colour in traditional medias."
5 Feb 2007	Dreamer	Loading... Hehe, yea it has detailed colouring. I was just saying what got in mind, dont take me too serious. ^^ It's a peaceful picture and I like it a lot. But to grab attention it would need something to ''stick the eye''. Being a practice work I think it's really awesome! Your colouring is one of the best things in your works. Rikke Lindskov ´Gwennafran´ Loft replies: "Thanks. I pretty much just wanted to put focus on the elf. I think I get your point, but again. I really wouldn't have liked to do that on this piece, as it would have taken away some of my "skin". And yeah... It did turn out really nice for an experiment."

6 Mar 2009	Anna Katherine Oates	Loading... This is a perfect piece. The colors fit together great! I love the top and the way it flows. I love the pose also, very nice and you pulled it off very, very well. I like the fact that this picture isn’t all in your face. I think it as a lot of detail and should stay like this and not have any changes made.
