AHH! I am so happy, your someone who doesn't say "Oh, its just talent." That makes me so mad!! And you're right, all it takes is work and anyone can draw. That said... YAY! Good picture. I love silhouettes! mostly cuz I find em so hard (I really have to work at them) So pretty this is! Well balanced and everything!

:-) Rikke Lindskov ´Gwennafran´ Loft replies: "Actually, to make silhouettes you have to draw the character as if it wasn't a silhouette. Of cource, it helps if you take into consideration how the form will look, but drawing a silhouette isn't easier than drawing a "full" drawing. ^_~I'm sure talent helps BTW... But... Unless you're very, very good, or in a beginners class, it won't help for long. The genious' got talent of cource. But those who are merely great can come there on practice alone. (brilliant drawers have to practice as well, of cource. ^_~)"

Looks haunting... like ghosts. I like ghosts so that makes me like this pic. So ghost-like...so haunting. I read lots of horror stories and it only takes me a night to recover from the scare. For some reason I love being spook out my skull but never have the guts to watch a horror movie.

:-) Rikke Lindskov ´Gwennafran´ Loft replies: "*LOL* That sound unlogical for some reason. If you like horrorbooks, when why not see horrormovies as well?"
8 Oct 200445 Light Angel in camouflage
Yeah, I know. It does seem unlogical. I think it's because in horror movies the you are watching the horror being played out for you. You can hear the sounds and see what the producer wants you to see and you have no chance of toning the horror down so it could suit you. In books, you can imagine the monster howevere you want; leaving out some details or adding things and there are no sounds to add on the suspense so you are able to tone the horror down a little, but the main details you read is supposed to scare you because it is a horror story. (No, duh. XD)

:-) Rikke Lindskov ´Gwennafran´ Loft replies: "Well, it's hard to add the "shock-suspence" into a book (like when you now the monster is around one of the corners in a movie), but I really think it's a matter of how your imagination functions while reading. I more or less have an intern movie running in my head while reading a book. Only hear, the things are specially made as I imagines them."

Yeah, if I let my imagination run lose (which I usually do) while reading a horror story, the scary stuff is specially made, too. I don't have nightmares anymore but I can't fall asleep as fast as I usually do.

:-) Rikke Lindskov ´Gwennafran´ Loft replies: "Hehe, I know the feeling. ^_~"

i love being scared while i'm still on the adrenaline rush, but afterwards the ensueing nightmares stick with me for YEARS, then can be triggered by anything to make me remember it. so consequently i do not like it in the long run. this picture does not strike me as haunting though. just more somber almost FORBIDDEN. gotta love piks like that, i am thankful you didn't put any gravstones in their with the gorgous FULL moon.

:-) Rikke Lindskov ´Gwennafran´ Loft replies: "Hehe, it was never meant to be scary. Just a challenge for me to make. ^-^"

Challenge, sketch, or whatever matters not, its interesting. unusual, not something you see everyday, and i havn't seen anything quite like it, so again Rikke gets more creative award! along with most artistic! and countless others that i wish i could think off!

:-) Rikke Lindskov ´Gwennafran´ Loft replies: "Hehe, I got inspired by something that was quite like this. So I really can't take credit for the idea. ^_~"
