SciFi and Fantasy Art Ravenclaw Colours by Rikke ´Gwennafran´ Loft

I accidentally realised that there was a "colour war" among the Ravenclaw drawing Harry Potter fans.
Am I the only one who find it ironic, that it's Ravenclaws: The house that values intelligence, knowledge and wit (read: The bookies), that has ended up having at least half of the fanbase depicting them with different colours that the ones described in the books? XD

The movie also depicts the Ravenclaw coat of arms with a large raven on the shild and a smaller eagle over the top of the shield. That makes me a little mad too. Not that I’m obsesive about it or anything....nope not me. As for your pics I really like them. I thought it was brilliant! LOL

I would like to point out that if one was to knit their own, it’s easier to find silver/grey yarn than something that would resemble bronze (and while I’m sure bronze yarn exists, it’s probably uber scratchy novelty yarn that you wouldn’t want to wear anyway). The same thing goes for fabric paint, silver is just more readily available for the person making something themselves.
7 Nov 2010	Julie	Loading... Just stumbled on this site randomly, and it made me smile. I hate the movie logo (there’s a British version of the logo out there with the eagle.) Fortunately for me, my university’s colors are maize (dark yellow that’s close enough to bronze) and blue. (Real) school scarf British patch from eBay = happy Ravenclaw.
