update Sept 6, 2008: Jaylen's appearance has changed slightly. Mainly just his tail. Other than that, he's pretty much the same oni/demon/mixed guy. I still love this piece and it's still on my wall.

Ho jeez. 15 hours. 15 hours. But I love it. Jaylen was done using an ink-dipped toothpick. The background is in 0.5 ink pens. Yes, I am insane. Each dot was put on paper by hand. For the background, I simulatneously used 2 pens in one hand. ...My brain is fried from so many dots.

So yeah. 15 odd hours of dot-dot-dot-dot-dot. I love the effect I got. I'm just never doing so much stippling again.
