I love your work... you've got a great grasp of anatomy, motion, shading, expressions... augh, I'm jealous. just one little 'complaint' though... the proportions of some of your characters is a little off... the most noticeable was the drow and the ninja... their heads are too big. A trick my art teacher told me about was always to remember that a person's head is one-eighth of their body, proportionally. Just a thought, suggestion, opinion, whatever. Again, love your work! keep drawing, please!

:-) Richard White replies: "Thank you. Yes, some of the proportions are or seem off. Some of this is due to foreshortening, some is due to a lack of consensus about how many heads a human body is (depending on who you talk to it can be between 6 to 8 heads tall) and some is due to the artist. Personally, I am starting to favor the 8 head theory. It looks better on paper whereas some of the earlier 7 head stuff doesn't look quite right."

I love your style of art. It's awesome, dude. Especially the one of "Kat" I love how you did the ground she was standing on. You made it seem so motion-like. Not many artists I know can really do that. The shading is awesome, I love you use for it. I've never seen art this great and wonderful before. I want to see more. Put some more up! :0)

VERY cool stuff Richard! It's been mentioned to death already I'm sure, but your work...amazingly dynamic. Has a very cool stylistic drama that I really enjoy too. I really enjoyed looking around, keep up the great work!

I have an addiction to elfwood. the reason is that I always come here to search for drawing. how logic. but not ordinary drawings, I search for drawings that can move me, in each way. I get disappointed a lot, but when I arrive at a gallery like yours, it gives me the courage to hold on, cause your pictures really move me. you have a rough, touching style and I adore it.

There is some great stuff here - no-one seems to have commented for a little while so I thought I’d change that! Assassinatrix and Dragon Kin are both great. A real sense of something in their eyes, as well as being very good overall. More please!
