I love the way you made him, all of those little dots... *stares eyes wide open* Very well made. And the axe is just so perfect.... *I want one!* ^__^ Robert Landers replies: "Maybe you should have one of your trolls come over and try to kick his butt and take the axe from him... Thanks for coming over and checking out my new uploads... Glad you like them... This one was one of those works of art that came on it's own... I just put pen to paper and before you know it there it is... It's like thier already there hiding behind the white of page... You are only there to set it free..."

Nice to have other artist stop by... As for taking a lot of time... been doing it for some time.... and as anything you do alot you get faster... now it's only a little longer then normal shading..."

Sayles | Loading...I like this one best, i think it's one of your stronger peices, it doesn't matter if the anatomy isn't right cause who's to say whats right, i've never seen anything like it, it looks like a giant ant, anyway it's very cool. Robert Landers replies: "Thank you very much... Glad that you like it... That's the good thing about monster/demon bodies, no one realy seen one to know what's right... Anyway thanks for your comment always glad to have other artist stop by.... "
| 10 Nov 2004 | Sabine B. Fischer | Loading...This one shows motion, that's one of the things why I like it. I rarely see pictures in this 'dotty' style and this one is well done. Robert Landers replies: " Thank you very much... I realy like the use of dots to shade... I have been doing must (but not all) of my ink work shading in dots for a very long time... It has become very easy for me to do it that way... As for movement in this one. I have been trying to add movement to the character and or monster that I have been working on... Sometime I pull it off... Also thank you for the help you been giving me with Gimp... " | |
| 3 Dec 2004 | James Lunn | Loading...Youre inking style gives the creature a look of stone almost like a statue its also very clean and crisp. Loveing the axe and insecty infulence on the demon Robert Landers replies: " Thank you... I realy like to use dots to shade... I like the axe too... " | |
| 7 Dec 2004 | Kurt Le Courtois | Loading...The sharpened part of the axe should be shiny or slightly darker, white looks somewhat odd and plain. Other than that it's great.^^ Robert Landers replies: "hhhmmm... I'll think about that some... There are a number of ways to shade it with ink alone... but... I thank that a backgroud would help in part... anyways... thanks for stopping by my gallery and commenting on my pic's..." | |
