SciFi and Fantasy Art Squirrel in Woodlands by R L Bennett

This is a picture I made for someone of his character, Gideon. This is a much better background than the craptacular ones in other pictures I currently have here. Yay for rugged Redwall squirrels!

(NOTE: This is old. Like... late-2004 old. So I know there are less-than-perfect things about it; I'm just keeping it around to make my recent pictures look that much cooler. *chuckle* Actually, it's because I do like it in some way, but it's definitely dated.

And looking back at this, I don't know how the heck this got Mod's Choice. It kinda really stinks. Dunno how I had the nerve to call this thing a squirrel. Oh well... that's what practice and time are for...)

9 May 2006	Sandra Leigh Wagner	Loading... I think it's the nose. It may be a bit too long for a squirrel, lending more to the foxy side of things. Also, I'd make the tail bushier at the end and curl a bit more at the tip. Use real squirrel pics for references. THat might erase the foxy mistake. Very well done, by the way. EULALIIIIIAAAA!

Also like the green robe thingy he's wearing (nice change from the generic "Robin Hood Uniform") I wonder, what's he about to take aim at? (Looks like he's reaching for an arrow) ~Ra'akone
