The Bristlecone Pine can live for thousands of years and those trees must have souls. They are precious so they made forest sprites into guardians who seek out the pure of heart to help them guard the trees. The sprites have found this girl to be very pure of heart and they are talking to her.
Finally finished this one after several months. Rendered in Poser 4 and retouched in Photoshop 6.

That is absolutely gorgeous! I would love to be her at that moment. She looks so peaceful and pure.

Hi,

One comment concerning the small flying creatures. They appear to be behind the girl and are not transparent at all. I would say that they seem far back because they don't appear in front of her body (composition). Also, making them 100% opaque gives an impression that they are two dimensional instead of three since there is no shading in them. Yes, I think if the green smoke were covering her legs and arm a bit more, and the flying creatures were somewhat transparent and maybe a few of them overlapping the girl (in front), it would improve the realism and bring them forward.

Just a thought, though. Keep up the good work.

Wow that's gorgeous. I was kind of curious though, what programs do you use for your graphics?

Yes, they do seem to float around her and not quite in front of her...I think it is the way her eyes seem to be just drifting straight off into the distance. The clothes look strangely familiar to me...reminisant of an elf I believe...must be the greenish, leafy color.
