This was done originally for a friend who owns some Pugs. It was kind of a challenge for me because the cute pug face isn't cute the same way a fox-like face would be. But she liked it anyway.

Neat idea but she definately needs a flat face (perhaps a Pug nose?)

This is one of the most riveting things I have ever found in a Google image search. If there is any more pug art similar to this out there, I must know about it.

I am intrigued by the imagery at work here. Clearly the artist was influenced by the hybrid dieteis of the Egyptian pantheon and I am in fact curious to know if there was ever at one point a half human half pug god or goddess. When it comes to protective totems in the wicca tradition, pugs are by far the most auspicious, and I feel that something deeper than just a gift for a friend influenced it's creation.

I have to admit, I was attracted to the tail first. It really makes her look cute with the curly tail and pig tails! But the face doesn't quite look like a pug. I think if you pushed it in more or something like that..But it's great otherwise!
