Or Hebra, whichever you like. Based off a real photograph I saw of this pony-sized creature, that had zebra-like stripes on the buckskin fur and dark legs and neck. The photgrapher said it's owner claimed it was from the mating of a zebra and a horse.

(i spelt my name like this for a reason)i looove ur picture of a zorse i was looking on google and zorses r real(i saw a pic)and i got this from: http://www.geocities.com/zedonknzorse/basics.html

OK LOOK:
So cross a ZEBRA to a HORSE and you get a ZORSE! Or a zebra stallion to a donkey jennet (mare) and you get a ZEBRASS (also called a zedonk or zonkey). These too are sterile hybrids, and cannot reproduce. Each mule, hinny, zorse or zedonk/zonkey is a one-time shot.

AND:

Equine hybrids can be trained just like regular equines (donkeys or horses), but they are not for everyone. They do have a wild animal for one parent (the zebra) and they must be carefully trained and above all respected.

ya so it was cool there is more stuff about it at the link above great picture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

about zorses: theyre really called zebroids and the are SO cute! i actually seriously want to looking into getting one - it is possible (just) even though theyre are rotten to train and rough to ride, its a statment for sure!
about the pic: is so so so cool! anatomy is spot on, far better than i would ever have done. tis so cute. and i like the lack of background for once. im just wondering why this is on elfwood though... not saying that i want them to get rid of it, but its not fantasy.
2 thumbs up for you! ^______^

WOW! I love the shading and the colouring on it. If I hadn't have read your intro, I would've thought it was drawing of a quagga. The Zorse and Quagga both look quite similar. Keep up the wonderful work, and I hope to be seeing more of your artwork in the future.

There have actually been successful breedings between zebra and horses or ponies, although they’re rare. You can find pics. of them on the net, and whether the one you based yours off of was real or not who knows? But you did a great job!
