One of my favorite images based on Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series. This is a rendering of the gleaming city of Tar Valon, center of the world and home of the Aes Sedai, White Tower, and Amyrlin Seat.

Looks good for a start but the buildings could use some details.

Beautiful, you depicted the shining city almost as i had imagined it. Dragonmount is even rising above it in the back ground.luv it2

This looks really cool, except the bridge closest to us is just a bit steep. I imagine ppl just falling down it as they try to cross. Other than that, very good depiction.

I really love Dragonmount in the background. It adds a familiar detail to the fans of the book like myself. Though I do think Tar Valon itself could use some details.

Awesome pic, other than those out-of-place buildings in the foreground. The White Tower is amazing, but the island looks a little small to hold a city and the tower. Maybe it's just the distance/perspective thing. And, wasn't there supposed to have been a battle on the slopes of dragonmount? It'd be pretty darn tough to keep your footing, let alone fight on that mountain (though it is a cool looking mountain).

I may not be an artist, but I think that you're one of the best I've seen. I must point out a thing or two though.
One-Dragonmount is much, much farther away from Tar Valon than you show it. It may be prespective, but it is a lot farther away than you picture it. It says so in Newspring.
Two-Dragonmount is really, really tall. Even bigger than the Moutains of Mist. It disappears in the clouds if my memory serves me.
Three-The island does in fact look a little small to house such a large, great city.
I just wanted to point that out to you.

I think this is a really good picture, with good perspective. i think it fits the description of the shining walls from the book really well.
