SciFi and Fantasy Art Adventurers! by Roberto Raba

You know this feeling when you had just finished with all the dangers of a maze, with all the tricky doors, all the traps were removed and all the monsters were killed and you are just in front of the treasure healing your wounds, searching among the gold for magical objects and realizing that everyone of your friends are ok and that this is the reward and you are finally there? I don´t, but the feeling must be great, and that´s what i tried to show here. The people in this group are a elven archer, something like a halfling thief (but not a halfling), a magic-user/fighter, a cleric and another elf, a bard one.I am in eternal debt for this picture with Hakan Ackegard for inspirating me, he´s one of the more imaginative artists i found in internet.

9 May 2004	Seren	Loading... This is gorgeous. I kinda agree with the guy above about the 'cabooose', I never manage to get detail like that in my pics. I also love the main female archer, owner of said 'caboose'. You just know that she's gorgeous, evem though her backs to you. I also LOVE the cheeky grin of the guy by the wall in the background, reminds me of a thief called Davar in a friends story!

I SO know the feeling described by this pic. 3 A.M., the tabletop littered with empty beer bottles and full ashtrays, room full of 13 hours worth of cigarette smoke and cold sweat. All Raise Dead spells and healing potions exhausted. Everybody's health down to single digits. and then - "It's over? It's really over??" Yup. And in a daze, we start calculating our amassed experience points, unable to believe we made it through. The Hidden Shrine of Tamoachan, so long ago and brought so immediately to my mind by this picture... Thank you.
