Bast is the egyptian goddess of cats and felines, i allways had liked her since i see a picture of her in a handbook called 'legends&lore' from AD&D. This picture donīt make justice to that one, but i tried it :( Everyway this had been scanned from a big A3, so it is only a part. It is supposed to be a Bast invocation by two of hers clerics, guess who is the novice :)

Wow!!! That is a really awesome pic. I can't agree with the whole 'innocent' looking thing but it is a really cool drawing.

I LOVE the drawing because it is of Bast; Egyptian goddess of cats. I have always had a fascination of her probably because I love cats but. . .who knows.

I agree that the NO one should be able to tell you how or what to draw, especially when it deals with gods/goddesses.

Several things I'd like to say. First, awesome pic. I've seen the incomplete one a while back. This coloring is more....moist? It looks more lively. Not to bash your work. I honestly think most of the comments about the ladies' breasts whether a technical or puritanical one are just going to show no matter what, someone out there will have to find some way to be somewhat "above" someone somewhere. It's sad, it really is. Your art is great, I think you are one of my favorite artists on this site. I think you should ignore those who make those little arrogant comments like "Well so and so should be such and such." Honestly, they need to shut up.

Not to say all art shouldn't be criticized. Some are plain crappy on this site. This is not one of those. Keep up the good work.

1 Roberto Raba replies: "Thanks a lot for your words! You are very kind!
Telling the truth, one of the reasons i get a little tired of elfwood was some kind of comments, like "you must dress her" and things like that. I didnīt want to allow the comments only for members, because is not fair, but there are a lot of people that hides in anonymity for telling such phrases like "oooh, breasts" , full of intelligence and good taste. Iīm not saying that my pictures must be appreciated by everyone: i understand it. But why they must tell how much they dislike? I donīt write comments on "yaoi" pictures, wich i really dislike, telling how crap i think they are or not; i just donīt watch it! But i donīt tell them "dress him" or worse things...
Well, in any case, i appreciate a lot good comments, even if they talk about mistakes i made technically. Iīm glad you liked my pictures, if you want to see more, you can visit my webpage, where i have tons, or the new one at deviantart ( http://irikoy.deviantart.com ). I update this ones more, because of the incredible waste of time waiting for moderators to upload pictures here in elfwood. I remember that old times when i had to wait just some minutes... -___-
Thanks a lot!"

Not bad. But i have to say this is the first time i have seen bast with tiger stripes. Still cool.

agreed, I believe the comments we seek as artists are upon the skill of the artwork, but alas... such wishes are always shot to tiny pieces by some people who wish to see the picture for what perversions they seek instead of the skill and time the artist put into the work

1 Roberto Raba replies: "Yep, thatīs the problem... i have received mails with "indications" for my pictures that really made me think about how much sick people are out there...Thanks for the comment! ^_^"

Wow. I love this. Bast is one of my Patron Deities, so I definitely feel a connection to this picture. You captured her essence very well (though I agree that this is the first time I've seen her in tiger stripes (but I love how they are blue...). I also love the little kitten you have in this picture and the one after it.

I actually looked through all of your art before commenting on this one and must say that it is all amazing.
