Maybe I'm just like Joan of Arc. Your paintings and drawings.....(in the old sense) awesome...even august. I'm impressed.
| 28 Jan 2006 | Anon. | Loading...The details of your anatomy are stunning, but I feel I must make a criticism about the legs of most of your females. If you look at "Lance","Dragon birth", and "Forest", you will notice what I'm talking about. If you were to straighten the arms of the figures down at their sides their finger tips would end at their knees. Most women's fingertips would end about 6 or 7 inches above the knee cap. Even women with shorter legs would not be that disproportionate. Also, the lower legs are much too short, furthering the illusuon that the women are awefully stumpy. I wouldn't have felt compelled to leave a comment if it were just one painting that suffered, but most of your female figures have this problem and you are much too good of a painter to let an anatomical mistake take over the visuals you provide. | |

That is some amazing work under those conditions. You should probably keep pursuing that medium. I don't think that kind of natural ability surfaces in more than one medium in a lifetime.
