Wish my dragons could look as good as that! Robert T. Ljung replies: "Thanks for commenting, had fun doing this illustration and I played around a bit with diffrent shading techniques as well. The front plating/scaling of this dragon's neck is the part I'm the most satisfied with in this piece.-Rob"

However, I did notice that he has these small spikes in formation on the top of his head going down to the neck, and yet on the back of the neck, the spikes changed completely and turned "duller". Why is this?

Love the head-plate things, I don't suppose they have words for bits on dragons. oh well, looks good anyway Robert T. Ljung replies: "Well it is just bony (not the kind teenagers think about) and then we have some scales on there as well.Had fun when I drew it and still enjoy this piece of line-drawing Have more dragons I'll try and scan saome day as well."
