| 18 Sep 2002 | Anonymous | Loading...Hey, cool picture. I used to play 40k but i dont much anymore, although i still love the storyline and all the art... Anyway, try to use more foreshortening in your pictures. Notice that the carnifex's scythes are all going straight to the left or right? The picture would be much more interesting and believeable if some of them were foreshortened, i.E. Coming towards or going away from the viewer. Same thing with hands, like the lictor's- the fingers should be behind each other instead of all in a row, or even better in a claw-type pose. Also, the lictor's stance should be more leaning forward, just keep in mind the center of gravity with those type of legs. Draw more tyranids! Rocco Anthony Davis replies: "....a doodle cause by mass boredom gets all this eh? well the aim of the scythes going left and right was to show them off. I couldn't be asked with foreshortening as it was a five minute sketch." | |
