As if it were fire
Ice crackles and snaps
And then bursts away in a silvery rain
Little bits still cling
To the leathery wings
As if they were decorated in diamonds
Reflecting blue
Muscles flex
And the head moves free
Rolling steam coming from the nostrils
Making the chamber misty
As if undressing
It steps free its legs
From the thick boots of ice
A hungry grumble as
It stretches and yawns
Showing a tongue of red
Against the many hues of blue
Muscles flex
The wings create a wind
That leaves the dragon slightly damp
As it departs the cold cave
