Rochelle thinks the key to good writing is living a full life and lots of reading.

Updated May 2008: I have not had a computer for a bit nor will one be coming soon so upates will be sporadic at best.

Updated August 10, 2006. Hmmm nothing below is changed. Small additions here and there.

Updated October 2 2005. I've been updating a lot recently so plenty of works, mostly poetry, to read. My personal favorites of the my works are Ravensong and Ravensilence. I also recommend reading Of Kings and Pawns, I feel its my personal best as far as short stories go.

As far as my life goes, I am 26. I live in Phoenix, AZ, United States. I have a cat for a roomate. Her name is Sylvie; she's s pretty tortieshell. I used to list all sorts of favorites here but somehow I've come around to thinking that they are not too overly important. I will say my favorite authors though, seeing as they do affect my writing. In no particular order: Terry Pratchett, Charles De Lint, Mercedes Lackey, e.e.Cummings, Emily Dickinson, Diane Mott Davidson, George R.R. Martin, Ellen Kushner, Neil Giaman, Jimmy Buffet, Simon and Garfunkel, Robert Frost, and Terry Moore. My favorite book is and will always be Alice in Wonderland. In my spare time I play lots of World of Warcraft, watch movies, Read, Role-play old school with dice and paper, and dream of some day taking a vacation to England.

So go read now......and leave any kind of comment your heart desires.....

Hello!

I can't say that I understand a lot of your poetry (though the Rebel's Betrayal was fairly chilling), but it seems to be pretty vivid in its imagery. I don't do well with poetry.

Good stuff!

Phoenix Arizona. That's where I was born. It's nice and hot there. I'd like to go back. LOL

Al

:-) Rochelle Leya Watts replies: "Lol. Yeah, sunny phoenix is quite warm right now. Imagery is my favorite part of writing; its probably why I find poetry easier than prose. I am still working on plot construction. Thanks for your comment!"

Hey! Check out your stuff! The tour I have created is up, and you are in it too!

:-) Rochelle Leya Watts replies: "Neat. I took the tour and read some of the other stuff. Now if we could only get more people to try out Wyvern's tours (I think they get used less than the picture ones)."

I read the two poems you suggested above, and they're both great. Terry Pratchett rocks. Neil Gaiman, how dreamy. 2

:-) Rochelle Leya Watts replies: "Yeppers, I do love me some Pterry or Gaiman. And thank you about the poems. I suppose its rather egotistical to be happy with one's own works but they are my favorites anyways. "

Great stories! Write more please!

:-) Rochelle Leya Watts replies: "Will do. 2 Though a few of these need some polishing too, hence the time its taking me to get new stuff up...ah well."

Whoa...Love your raven poems!!!....I know precisely wht picture fits them best.

:-) Rochelle Leya Watts replies: "Well thanks. They are a bit older but I consider them finished which for me is tough to not edit my own writing every time I read it. 2"

*waves* H'lo! Just wandered by to repay your visit to my page... *squints towards library* Hmm... That looks interesting...

I seem to dance in the shadowsteps of Cecily. Anyway, thought I'd come give you a look and mark this for further explorations.

:-) Rochelle Leya Watts replies: "Hello there! Feel free to look around. Cecily eh?"

We should really talk to each other. First M.L. and now princess Bride!! I was starting to wonder12

:-) Rochelle Leya Watts replies: "Heh. Well, Princess Bride is not all that unusual. I'm a fan of Harold and Maude and thats a little more unique. But thank you for commenting."

:-) Rochelle Leya Watts replies: "Actually with Lackey I like her modern fantasy, specifically the SERRA series. Elves and race cars are a nice combo. 2"
