	This is the colored version of my mermaid before. I colored it using Photoshop 3.0, though I wish I had the newest version. =( Anyway, I still love the way it came out and I'm still getting used to using the computer to color drawings.

Knowing me I would have forgotten all about bubbles. x_x Carlee Weimer replies: "Ok, I think you're asking why I said she wasn't the average mermaid, right? Well, I usually think of a mermaid looking more like Ariel/Arial/whatever from the Disney movie, and well, my mermaid isn't like that. She has the gills and webbed fingers and the tail fin's different and her little fin structure on her back, blah blah blah, so yeah. Hehe! I hope that answered your question, lol, anyway, thanks so much! I added the bubbles to hopefully show that she was moving pretty quickly and happened to look at the "camera" and smile all at the same time. I'm such a dork, lol, thanks again!"

AWESOME!! this pic is great!!! i really suck at drawing mermaids anyway, yeah! you did an awesome job of making her look like shes underwater with all of her hair flowing around like that! and the bubbles add a neat effect!! also, her fins on her arms and around the waist are genius!!! makes me wanna draw a mermaid, but i know its gonna suck!!! anyway, AWESOME WORKAGE!!! 8D Carlee Weimer replies: "Yay! 27 Mar 2004	Anonymous	Loading... I love this picture. I love the manga-like style you used for a mermaid, and all those cute bubblies. And the hands' fins, very cool. The colors are good too. And the hairstyle with that. The only thing is her chest, if she put her arms down, it'd look a -little- weird.
18 Jan 2007	Alanna	Loading... Very cute mermaid! But her breasts shouldn't be so… up? With the way she's moving they should be more downish… I don't know how to say it though. Do you get what I mean? It's just with her momentum going forward they should be back more. The only time they should be that up is, maybe, if she's going really fast, tail-fist, down. Aside from that it's really good, I especially like the bubbles.
