i read both parts of "a Swedish legend" and as i did not want to post one comment to each, i´m too lazy for that (read the signature!) i decide to do so here...
anyway, i found it to be a great story, sadly, however it lacked a bit in language, you should work to improve your English. Not that it was bad, not at all, i´m just saying it could be better. I liked the fact that the story was based on one of our few big Swedish legends, the "storsjöodjur", and that it held many "undertopics", "sidequests", if you wish, like the man trying to steal the car. That definetly made the story less linear, and a lot more entertaining to read.
...i know i`m blubbering a lot, but i just wanted to get it all out now that i have read it.

Well, you'll find that Australian's would react to something strange (Generally) a lot like the rest of the western world.

It's not like we grab our beers and our spears and then go hunt kangaroo.

The way I see it, we're just American's, though somewhat quieter in general and a tad more friendly.

Diana, PLEASE tell me that you will continue Shapeshifter. It just seems like there should be a continuation or sequel to this. Shapeshifter, it seems, is the wonderful beginning of a series of stories about Josh. Please, Please, Please continue it.
