Tag As FavoriteComment		My interpretation of a Thestral from OotP. I've seen pictures of these that are very skeletal looking, and they're all great. But knowing something about horses, I figured that to be able to pull the carriges they would still need quite hefty front ends. So I tried to convey that with this piccie, along with the correct equine anatomy.

Pretty good, but the horse looks like it could use some food... There are too many ribs. That is very dangerous for a horse to get like that. Pretty good though

:-) Robyn 'Fake' Smales replies: "Thestrals are described as 'Skeletal black pegasi' And as Horses have 18 ribs, 10 'true' and 8 'false' (The only differance is where they attach) I dont think there are too many ribs, more likely too few 2"

I LOVE the see through bat-like wings, this is one of the few pics of thestrals that is acually true to the description in the book.

I can't believe there are so few comments!I love Thestrals!! I tried drawing one once, didn't work, but this is great!Can't quite call it beautiful, 'cause it's a creepy skelital horse, but this is one of my fave pictures. I have one last thing to say...I need a printer.

Love it!! I have tried to draw thestrals but it really doesnt work for me 8 but im glad some one else other than me that has the true talent!!
