I know what you mean, I’ve gotten back into drawing again too and I wanted to get better to illustrate my characters. I am writing a fantasy story too, but I probably don’t write as well as you!
A good friend of mine is an artist and he told me the best way to learn is to always draw a little everyday. You are well underway!

I’m working on it, and as you said I do, do a little every day, but with me doing this I’m neglecting my writings.  Thanks again for your post.
